Cleanskins come about when producers end up with extra wine due to high yields, when a sub-contractor agreement falls through, or when the producer has more wine than they think we can sell under their own label. They sell it directly to us at a fraction of the price with blank labels; we label it up and sell it, passing on the discount to our customers.
