An Iconic Yarra Valley producer established by Dr John Middleton in 1971 and now headed up by his son Sam Middleton, made famous by their Quintet, a classic Bordeaux blend, and their white Bordeaux blend, Triolet. However, in recent years, they have become just as well known for their top-notch Yarra Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. They produce wine in very small quantities, with quality at the forefront of everything they do. Their wines are pure expressions of their variety, season, and land; while initially drawing inspiration from Bordeaux and Burgundy, they operate through an Australian lens and see themselves as caretakers of the land they farm.
