Pizzini wines are located in Victoria's northeast King Valley wine region, among the cool rolling hills. Alfredo and Katrina Pizzini began making wine in the late 1970s and have been trailblazers for Italian varieties grown in Australia—they were among the first to plant Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. They are also known and celebrated for making great Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and other native Italian varieties like Dolcetto and Barbera.
