Devaux Cuvee D

Made from a selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit from some of the best growers in Champagne, this Brut Champagne blends together several vintages with a minimum of 5 years of bottle age. Delicate aromas of white flowers, orange zest and vanilla fill the glass, and a balanced mousse makes way for some flavours of fresh cream, brioche and candied citrus.

The Devaux house was established in the early 1800's by brothers Jules and Auguste Devaux. Over the next decade, it was passed down on three separate occasions to three separate widows after their husbands' passing. The three 'Devaux widows' remarkable ability to grow the brand successfully in a male-dominated industry is a testament to their resilience. Today, the house is now managed by several families, but its founders' history remains as inspiration for their hard work and resilience. They are known for making captivating wines at price points not often seen in the Champagne market.
