Bream Creek Pinot Noir

$46.00

"Cherry, raspberry, kind of succulent, but fresh too, with some spice, perfume, and quiet autumnal notes. It's medium-bodied, plenty of juicy cherry and raspberry flavour, spiced plum, a pleasing sort of floral mouth-perfume, fine-grained tannin, and a finish of very good length, a little twist of orange peel bitterness to close. I can't quite decide on 93 or 94 points, but either way, it's a strong vintage for this wine." Wine Front, Gary Walsh 93+ Points

While nowadays Tasmania is synonymous with fine wines and craft beer and whisky, once upon a time, Bream Creek was one of only 10 commercial wineries in the whole state. In fact, when Bream Creek vineyards were first planted in the '70s, it was one of the first vineyards in Tasmania. Located near Marion Bay in a small, rural community on the south coast, 50 minutes drive to the east of Hobart. Bream Creek is best known nowadays for making exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their 2023 Pinot Noir cleaned up at the National Cool Climate Wine Show, winning Champion Wine in Show.
