We’re a local family-owned wine store in Torquay celebrating our 21st year in business. Our focus is primarily on wine – from championing the local Geelong wine region to sourcing wines from across the classic wine regions of Australia and the world. We also have a comprehensive range of craft beer and a concise range of spirits. 
We pride ourselves on delivering friendly, tailored service and selectively sourcing wines from growers that we love!

By joining our team:
-    You will be working in a friendly, safe environment,
-    Amongst a welcoming local community just minutes from the beach.
-    You will Be involved in tasting our existing range.
-    Tasting and contributing to new product selection on a regular basis, 
-    as well as comprehensive staff discounts to help in developing your knowledge. 
-    There is scope for growth in the business for the right candidate.

Some of your Responsibilities will include:
-    Processing sale transactions
-    Providing advice and assistance to customers
-    Receiving Stock deliveries and putaway
-    Preparing and delivering customer orders
-    Maintaining in-store displays and visual merchandising standards
-    Assisting with wine tastings
-    Basic store upkeep and cleaning tasks
-    Store opening/ Closing procedures

Essentials Skills:
-    A genuine interest in wine and ongoing desire to expand your knowledge. 
-    Basic computer skills – Point of Sale and other software (Microsoft applications)
-    Ability and capacity for heavy lifting
-    Strong communication and customer service skills
-    Some weekend availability

Desired Skills (nice-to-have, but not essential):
-    Formal wine education
-    Prior wine service experience in either retail or hospitality settings.
-    Manual driver's licence.
