In 1942, Andre Delorme returned home from the Second World War after getting injured. With the plan to become a vigneron, he quickly made a name for himself, producing outstanding sparkling wine that was listed in the best restaurants in France. Andre Delorme has been instrumental in the growth of Crémant de Bourgogne production, gaining appellation d'origine contrôlée in 1975 through the efforts of Delorme and other producers. Crémant offers a great alternative to consumers who want Champagne's elegance, flavour and essence without the price tag! Made using the same method and the fruit from the same general area of France, it is a fantastic alternative.
