Bright lifted aromatics of ripe plum, black cherry, violets and some black pepper; it is medium-bodied with plush, ripe fruit on the palate and some lovely savoury 'whole-bunch' leafiness. The tannins are ripe and refined, and the finish is long-lasting. This wine is a wonderfully food-friendly wine with a lot to offer.<br>
