Sentio is the wine label created by Chris Catlow. Growing up in Beechworth, Chris developed an interest in winemaking at a young age. He gained valuable experience working with Barry Morey at Sorrenberg for several vintages, which solidified his passion for the industry. Chris then pursued a double degree in wine science and viticulture at La Trobe University.
After completing his studies, he worked several vintages in Burgundy and also gained experience on the Mornington Peninsula at Kooyong Estate, Portsea Estate, and Paringa Estate. Eventually, he returned home to establish his own label, Sentio. Chris's aim with Sentio is to continually learn and progress while crafting wines that reflect a strong sense of place.
