Pinot Meunier is commonly used in the production of sparkling wine made using the same method as Champagne. However, this beauty is still red wine and a fabulous opportunity to showcase this grape. Ripe red fruits like cherry, strawberry, and rhubarb are the core of this wine, and they are complemented by some nice dried herbs, forest floor characters, and silky tannins. This wine is ripe and lush with stacks of flavours. It's very easy to drink wine but in no way forgettable.

Nomads Garden is a husband and wife collaboration between Ben and Ellie Schulz Dahlenburg. Ben is the winemaker, and Ellie oversees operations, marketing and distribution. They wanted to make wines with minimal intervention in the winery that honestly showcase the regions and growers they work with while still keeping it approachable and affordable for the average consumer. They are based in Eldorado, which is located between Beechworth and Wangaratta, but they work with growers in the King Valley, Rutherglen and beyond.
