A seamless blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro. Grenache makes up the majority of the blend and brings plenty of vibrant flavours of cherry and plum. The Shiraz adds some spice, dried herbs and olive notes, while the Mataro fills out the wine with some darker fruit flavours.

Located in McLaren Vale on the Fleurieu Peninsula south of Adelaide, Gemtree operate their farm adhering to Biodynamic and Organic farming practices, and they are also a member of the SWA (Sustainable Winegrowing Australia) and put sustainability at the front of their whole operations. These factors, along with minimal intervention in a winery, make Gemtree's wines pure and delicious. Mike and Melissa Brown started the winery and vineyard in 1993 and have since sold but have stayed on in their roles as Viticulturist and Winemaker.
