Pierrick Laroche released his first wine in 2010; however, the Domaine (Domaine des Hâtes) was established by his father in the 1970s. His father previously sold all their fruit to other makers. Pierrick studied Oenology in Beaune and travelled the world, honing his craft and gaining experience before returning home to make the first wine under the family Domaine. Since then, he has earned a reputation for producing exceptional Chablis and Petit Chablis, with holdings in some of Chablis's best premier crus and grand crus. With the prices of Chablis skyrocketing and popular producers becoming scarce, this here is one to watch.
