Heartland 'Directors Cut' Cabernet Sauvignon
"Sweet, full-bodied fruit flavour gushes onto the palate, all dark and berried and lovely, and keeps on rolling in soft, generous form all the way through to a satisfying finish. This wine isn't complex, but it gives you everything it's got. Blackcurrant, clove, mint and cedar flavours live large throughout. Bam." - Halliday, Campbell Mattinson 93points

Heartland was founded in the late 90s by Ben Glaetzer, a South Australian winemaker with now 20 years of experience behind him and is also John Glaetzer's nephew, who was head winemaker at Wolf Blass for over 30 years. He now owns and runs Heartland wines with other industry pro's Scott Collett, Grant Tilbrook and, more recently, Nick Keukenmeester. He also produces wines under his own label, Glaetzer Wines. Heartland is reserved for wines from the Langhorne Creek region, just 50 km from Adelaide city centre.
