Bests Sparkling Shiraz
This wine is detailed, rich, and full of character. It has layers of blueberry, baking spice, and dried flowers alongside some meatiness and toasty notes from the lees' contact. The acidity is bright and refreshing, and the bubbles are balanced, leaving you wanting another sip. It would pair well with a plate of charcuterie.

Best's is home to some of Australia's oldest and rarest vines. The vineyard was first established in 1866 by Henry Best. It was purchased by the Thomson family in 1920 and has stayed within this family, now in its fifth generation. Some of the original 1866 plantings are some of the oldest pre-phylloxera vines, not only in Australia but also the world, making Best's an integral part of Australian wine history. Based in Great Western, two and half hours west of Melbourne, a part of the Grampians wine region. A vast and expansive region that experiences cold winters and cool/ dry summers with some hot bursts, while many varieties are planted, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling, Shiraz is most commonly found.
