Brown Magpie Loretta
Made from 100% Pinot Noir fruit left of yeast lees and disgorged in January 2023 for release. Delicate aromas of red berry fruit like strawberry and raspberry, biscotti and dried crushed flowers. The palate has a lovely chalky minerality and the bead is balanced and refreshing. Expect a slight blush to this wine from a little bit of skin contact, making it all the more pretty.

Shane, a passionate wine lover, and Loretta, with a keen interest in viticulture, joined forces to establish Brown Magpie. In the early 2000s, they acquired a 20-hectare property in Modewarre, just a few kilometres from Geelong on the Surf Coast, and started planting the vineyard with Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay. They nurture the environment and community around them and believe that is an integral part of what they do
