Background

The Sangiovese grapes are fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The contact of the wine with the skins lasts an average of 14 days, followed by the malolactic fermentation. Ageing 80% for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and 20% in large barrels (50hl) of Slovenian oak and a minimum of 3 months in the bottle.

Tasting Note

Highly aromatic, cherry, raspberry liquorice and subtle spice, Mostly aged in stainless steel for 12 months, with the remainder aged in large oak casks owing to its softer character and drinkability.
