Geelong Cabernet Merlot

Geelong and Cabernet are not often good bedfellows, but old vines and great soils can do wonders for the grape. It has quite an assertive structure, but it's elegant and medium-bodied, with the tannins starting to give way to let the fruit and classic earthy flavours begin to shine. Starting to hit its straps, but you wouldn't go astray leaving a couple for a few years.
